Our beta program is for customers who would like to purchase Canviz before it becomes available to most consumers. The beta frame hardware is very similar to what will eventually be available to the general public. The frame software and app are ready and have been used by beta customers for months. Reserve yours now and once we get to your place in line you will be sent an order page. After you complete your order you’ll be sent instructions on how to install the Canviz app and your Canviz frame will be shipped to you within 2-6 weeks. You will have access to Canviz features as they are created, and influence over what we work on. Canviz is in active development, so the tradeoff to having early-access and influence is that you may also be the first to find a bug. You will also have first-access to the site & marketplace.

What is the Canviz beta?
- The beta program is for customers who would like to purchase Canviz before it becomes available to most consumers.
Why would someone want to buy an early version of Canviz?
- Following our crowdfunding campaign some supporters let us know that they were interested in buying a Canviz as early as possible, even while in development. So we launched this program to sell Canviz as soon as it was ready for these early users. Beta customers will get their hands on the frame and app 6-9 months before Canviz goes on sale to the public. Beta customers have given us direct feedback that has influenced the features and design of Canviz, and with their help we have been able to find unexpected issues and get them fixed. Become a beta customer if you’re excited and can’t wait to try Canviz out.
Will my Canviz stay up to date?
- Yes. You will need to have your Canviz frame connected to the internet, via a WiFi network, to receive our software updates. You’ll use the app to update your frame. Questions? Email us: beta@CanvizIsArt.com
What happens if there is a problem with my Canviz?
- We will support and fix any issues that prevent you from using Canviz, and if that isn’t sufficient we accept returns.
How do I install the Canviz app?
- After you finish ordering a beta Canviz, we will send you instructions on how to install the app.
What do I need to be able to use Canviz?
- You’ll need access to a WiFi network with internet access to be able to use many of the Canviz features. You’ll need an iPhone 4s or newer to install the Canviz app, and the app is critical to using your frame.
Is the Android app ready yet?
- The Android app is currently in development. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Getting the Android app ready is a priority for us.
Will I be able to upgrade my beta frame?
- Yes. We will roll out regular software updates for the frame and app. We may be able to swap beta frame hardware for our first generation consumer frame, once it becomes available, if you are willing to pay the cost difference, within the first year that you purchase your frame (assuming gentle wear & tear).
