Frame Software (SD)

Click the download button below to download the Canviz SD frame software image file and then write that image file to an SD memory card (this will wipe out anything already on the card).

By downloading this software I agree to the terms of the software licensing agreement.

How to Write the Frame Software:

  1. Install Win32 Disk Imager (Windows), you’ll use this to write the image file to your SD card.
  2. Unzip the zip file that you downloaded here, you’ll be using the ‘.img’ file inside. If you’re using windows you can right click the zip file and choose ‘Extract All’.
  3. Insert your SD Card into your computer (use a USB reader if your computer doesn’t have an SD slot). Ignore any messages about formatting the card. Open Win32 Disk Imager. Underneath ‘Device’ you should see a drive letter if your SD card was detected. Click the browse button in the ‘Image File’ section. Select the ‘img’ file that you downloaded here (that has ‘SD’ in the name). Click the ‘Write’ button.
  4. It should take around a minute for the software to finish writing to the SD card. Once it finishes close Disk Imager, and then safely remove the SD card from the computer. The SD card is now ready to insert in your Pi.
